Notice of Your Financial Privacy Rights

We, our, and us, when used in this notice, mean The First National Bank of Waynesboro.
This is our privacy notice for our customers.  When we use the words “you” and “your”, we mean the following types of customers:

• Our consumer customers who have a continuing relationship by purchasing or holding financial products or services such as a(n):

• Safe deposit box
• Retail installment contract we hold and service

We will tell you the sources of the information we collect about you.  We will tell you what measures we take to secure that information.
We first define some terms.
        Nonpublic personal information means information about you that we collect in connection with providing a financial product or service to you.  Nonpublic personal information does not include information that is available from public sources, such as telephone directories or government records. Hereafter, we will use the term “information” to mean nonpublic personal information as defined in this section.
        An affiliate is a company we own or control, a company that owns or controls us, or a company that is owned or controlled by the same company that owns or controls us.  Ownership does not mean complete ownership, but means owning enough to have control.
        A nonaffiliated third party is a person we do not employ or a company that is not an affiliate of ours. This is also known as a nonaffiliated third party, or simply an “other party.”

The information that we collect

Cookies and Web Beacons. Internet browsers have a feature called cookies, which stores small amounts of data on a user's computer hard drive that contains information about that user. Web beacons, also called "web bugs", "pixel tags" or "clear GIFs" are used in combination with cookies. A Web beacon is typically a small graphic image on a website that is also used to collect information about a user (not including your name, address, email address or telephone number). If a user rejects the cookie and/or modifies their browser settings to prevent / turn off cookies (which should also prevent web beacons from tracking a user's activities on the website), the user may still use our website. The only drawback to this is that the user may be limited in some areas of our website. Cookies and web beacons can also enable us to track and target the interests of our users to enhance the experience of our website. Some of our business partners use cookies and/or web beacons on our website (for example, advertisers); however, we have no access to or control over these cookies and web beacons.

We collect information about you from the following sources:

The Confidentiality, Security, and Integrity of Your Information
We restrict access to information about you to those employees who need to know that information to provide products or services to you.  We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal standards to protect this information.
Your Information and Other Parties
We will not disclose information about you to anyone except as disclosed in this policy or as permitted by law. Examples of this might include disclosures necessary to service your account or prevent unauthorized transactions.
Information About Former Customers
We have the same policy about disclosing information about former customers as we do about current customers.

We do not share this information about customers who reside in the following state(s):

• Alabama
• Alaska
• Idaho
• Vermont

We will not share any information derived from deposit relationships with us about customers who reside in the following state(s):

• Massachusetts
• Mississippi
• New Jersey

We will not share this information about our customers who reside in Illinois with other parties.
Types of Businesses
We may disclose information pursuant to joint marketing agreements to the following types of businesses:

• Financial service providers, such as:
• Insurance agents

Usage by Children
This website is not intended for use by anyone under the age of thirteen (13), and any individual under such age should not provide us with Personally Identifiable Information. We do not knowingly contact, market to, solicit, collect or use Personally Identifiable Information from or about any individual under the age of 13. It is possible that by fraud or deception we may receive information pertaining to children under the age of 13. If we are notified that we have personal information regarding a person under the age of 13, as soon as we reasonably verify the information, we will either obtain parental consent or otherwise delete the information from the account and/or service. However, the information may remain on a log in our servers.
